The IMS Precision Shower Screen DL200IM for DeLonghi espresso machines (see compatibility list) is a performance upgrade developed in collaboration with Verybarista and manufactured by IMS in Italy.
This custom version introduces a refined perforation layout designed to improve water distribution across the coffee puck. It distributes water more evenly across the coffee puck, reduces localized flow concentration and helps maintain stable extraction. This effect is especially noticeable when using precision baskets, single-dose baskets, or fine grind settings.
The result – more stable extractions, improved shot repeatability, and cleaner espresso, without requiring any major changes to your workflow or your machine.
